I've stopped in here a few times for pizza which is always good, but this review is really speaking to the restaurant aspect to Gino's.

I went her for lunch on a Sunday with a few people. The server was very friendly. He brought our table freshly baked Italian roles which were hot (perfect!). I ordered the minestrone soup for an appetizer. It was very light, yet filling. For an entree I ordered the salmon, which was amazing and large. It came with broccoli rabe, which had a lot of garlic in it. I really enjoyed this meal overall.

I also tried the eggplant Parmesan, which very good. Overall , large portions, freshly made food and fair prices. Good for a casual meal. I did notice an undertone of garlic in all of the items I tried , which is great for me! But if you're not a garlic lover, I would tell them in advance so they can alter their preparations accordingly.

There is a pizza place near where I live, and the pizza there is good. There is an italian ice place very close by.

However, when I can. I make the journey across town for Ginos. The pizza here is absolutely perfect. The sicilian and grandma slices are to die for. The vanilla chip italian ice is light, delicious, and refreshing. The staff is quick, efficient, and friendly.

However, it is a huge tourist spot, and in the summer, it sucks, because all of the tourists take up the whole place, and there's nowhere to sit. Also, ordering to go is nowhere near as good as ordering to stay.

Still, it's delicious. Best pizza I've ever had.
