I'm strictly reviewing the
food. After spending the day at Lido and Long Beach my friends and I wanted to
grab some food and drinks before the storm headed in on Sunday. We sat on the
back patio area which I didn't been know they had. I've been there before just
for drinks and it was always generally empty.
My friends mainly did the eating but I got to taste all their dishes. I sipped
on a Abita purple haze $8. My friends had the mussels in a tomato basil sauce.
It was so good, the sauce was a little sweet and the portion was good for two
people to share. Their next dish was the sesame seared tuna. It was cooked rare
and perfect it was over asparagus and a potato puff. I was pleasantly surprised
and would go again.
Service was good, they first accidentally brought us the wrong tuna dish but the

Surprisingly good food! Only came here for a couple of cocktails after the beach but pleasantly surprised by the calamari appetizer and sweet potato fries. Yum. Grandma margaritas all the way! Fab. Nice outdoor seating. Will be back next visit to long beach. Reviewed by Helen G.
